Tintwistle Band are currently looking for a new Musical Director, following the departure of Jim Henson. Jim did a lot to improve Tintwistle Band in his 3 years as M.D and will be missed.

The band are having a summer break and will start rehearsing the week commencing 24th August.

We have several applicants for the roll of Musical Director, and auditions will commence in early September.

Tintwistle Band are still looking for players to join the team, in particularly Soprano Cornet and Solo Cornet.

Tintwistle Band is filling up, however we really do need a Soprano Cornet Player and Solo Cornet players to complete our line up.
