Tintwistle Band  have had a very busy Christmas period and once again joined with Glossop Choral Society for their Annual Christmas Concert on the 13th December.

 The band also featured at Tintwistle Church for there Carol's by Candlelight service which was full to capacity, and were delighted to be awarded the prize for the best dressed Christmas Tree. Many thanks to our talented artistic members.

The band also performed at our regular concert for our locals in the Bulls Head in the village.

We also played Carols at Broadbottom, Ashton U Lyne and Hollingworth.

            The band wish all our supporters the
          very best for 2026.

Tintwistle Band will be entering the Midlands area Brass Band Championships on the 15th March 2026.

Rehearsals will begin on Monday 5th January. The set test piece for the Second Section is "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" composer Philip Harper, and is a Tribute to Jules Verne.

It is a tricky piece and will be a good test for all bands.
